3Fs: Friends, Fun & Food

CAUTION: THIS IS SO GONNA BE LONG! 10 PARAGRAPHS! - whee today was so much fun! i went out to celebrate Lyndy, Fel and Mel's birthdays. amazing. totally not work related at all. my cheeks are still hot after the bouts of laughter, the unofficial hamsapster promotion and sesi memalukan diri (and also because of coffee). lol. i tell you.. kingdom staff plus committees went krayjee during LG and TV3's MyStarz audition at The Curve xDD.

took the rapidkl bus from KJ with twinnie, nwar and tasha (mel janji to meet us there). we got lost searching for the underground tunnel at ikano side then went here and there looking for a guy whom i was supposed to meet (new Kingdom membership applicant). the poor kid was cornered by us nunas which i think is because we rarely get manly male members apart from Noviar. i swear he looked scared when everyone wanted to talk to him ("Who's your favorite singer?" -> "Rain.") at the same time.

jzune and her usual gang were there too. after fel, lyndy and michele arrived, we were gaping at the weirdo auditioners while waiting for yuri and nicole and innocently taking group photos when SUDDENLY the cameraman (covering the audition) came and filmed us being spazzy. wah sei malu weh~!! let's hope we'll be edited out =_=. lepas sejam gitu, we spotted lavena registering (*v* ) so we promised her that we'd show support and cheer during her turn. her number was 69 which would be another 3 hours or so, therefore we went to have our birthday lunch :)

lunch was Deep Fried Chicken Chop and teh tarik at Marché (belanja-ed!). you know the restaurant with the cow? puahah. the food was nice, although i had a really tough time choosing what to eat. sigh. i gave out my prezzies for the three birthday gals and yuri's belated gift. aww Kingdom spirit has always made us infamous as... crazy people.

nearing to 4pm, JerRy and Aish smsed that they are already in Ikea, so they went to eat sambil menunggu aku. i managed to say byebye to almost everyone and cabut-ed to Ikea's cafe. aw and again i don't get chance to eat meatballs cos i was too full T-T. tsk tsk. but i got to drink my beloved bottomless Coffee sumbat-ed into the car with my family and headed to Amcorp Mall for dinner. wah. nonstop eat lah today. siao. what more, as usual after our family's big meal.. i have to help my sister by becoming a 'tong sampah' and whallop all the leftover food. -____- so NOW you might understand why i'm so friggin fat and can never lose weight, eh?

as tired as i have been for the past week, i have to admit, watching Rain's concert together is definitely the balm to my weakening mental and emotional state.

nevermind the sun glaring onto our shared LG-Kingdom booth, nevermind the sweltering heat, nevermind the annoying insects swarming us for annoying reasons... all that matters is that we got to spend the end of our work by huddling together in our LG-Kingdom Zone sharing a simple meal of bread that i managed to sneak into the stadium and then spazzing & shouting away like no one's business at that little sanctuary Aunty Yong found for us.

I LOVE YOU GALS~ twinnie, nwar, tasha, mel, jess, moonie, shu, mishie, felsh, hyungie, jzune, several Kingdomers who acknowledged me and said 'Thank You' plus Aunty Yong too (for that spot under the console): i don't think i could've stayed alive without you people. special kudos also goes out to to Yuri, Eeza, Nicole for the wonderful time of working on this project AND nov for driving us back home after midnight. Thank youuuuuu~! and just to make his concert really meaningful, i blew away a few Ringgits of credit to give my good friend (who's in KL currently but wasn't able to go for concert due to my negligence) a live telecast. Hope you enjoyed the concert like I did too, Kak Zai.

but all that shortlived happiness (IT WAS ONLY 1 DAY OKAY!), we eventually had to say Goodbye to Moon and Jess who have gone back to their hometown and will leave us to go to Australia for 1 year. uuuuu i can feel the emptiness already T-T. siiiigh. therefore i am Officially Dead now. my brain and body is refusing to answer to each other.

er.. that sounds like a lie 'tho. heheh. because today is my 2nd hubby Hyoshin's fifth album release. i've put his 1st single on my profile page. go and listen to it! it's beautiful comeback of my Sad Angel. seems like an apt time for his return, really. i hope he can soothe my aching heart. Krock & Hari Raya

ZOMG! i met EVE (the Korean rock band) on Saturday!! *faints again* tak sia-sia aku keje dengan Kingdom, ek? xD EVE's here on personal holiday (stayed for a few days already); they holiday-ed in Singapore too. as a favor to Yuri, they came for a visit to our 22nd Gathering. and to maintain it as a surprise before their arrival, Farah & I did a 'School Of Rock' stint by teaching the kids Kpop Education. ROFL.

after 30 mins the three VIPs strolled in our office door, much to the gasps and oohs of our members! they dressed casual (no makeup, mind you) & are really friendly. hey, their English is commendable, especially Seungjoo's. kkk coz he saved some quirky situations. i was enjoying looking at everyone's facial expressions: (*o*) <-- awestruck & blushing. Seheon is like Hyde; smiles silently, but his eyes tell a whole lot of interesting stories <33. Sebin was wearing shades and didn't talk much; huhu i could see his eyes darting around looking at everybody else. while Seungjoo was smiling and flippin jokes; so he warmed us up pretty fast.

me? i was too star struck. Seheon is just so damn hot in person compared to his stage persona. i tell you,
he doesn't appear his age, man.. come to think of it, jrockers never
seem to age too. Hyde is like.. almost 40!! i guess that's what i love
about my beautious jrocknymphs. wish i had shook their hands. nyeheh at least i got to feel Sebin's fingers brushing against mine =P. i'll post up some shots of their autographs soon ^^. maybe they should stay and celebrate Hari Raya with us. i'd die to see Seheon in baju melayu.. owh <33.

i've got to finish cleaning up my room before Tuesday. my room is a total mess <__<. the curtains outside are almost up, and the balang raya needs to be filled. ^^;; won't be able to go online til then. so...

My aching body and throbbing head from last night was gone and a warm fuzzy feeling crept into my heart.. SHINHWA IS COMING BACK! My love never died. My unwavering loyalty over the past year and a half was tried and tested, but you guys still remain etched in my soul (ahk I'm spazzing as if they released their 8th jib ^^;;)

After the break, things were slighty less busy so I slipped in to watch Jerry's performance and the lucky draw.

Honestly, I never expected Jerry to become THAT popular within those few hours! Ahaha somehow I've become immune to these kids' charms. Even Ryan appeared.. 'normal' to me (fans, don't hit me!). They're good kids.. and well, that would mean I wouldn't be constantly jealous at all those love-stuck girls. haha. ima sucker.

Last but not least, CONGRATS to Kpop Kingdom for the great event and Moon (for winning)! 화이팅!

hungry siot

urgh. how long should i stay awake? damn the spaghetti's already in the fridge and i'm too lazy to reheat it at this ungodly hour =_=''. i'm supposed to wake up early to print some lists today... but here i am still surfing the Net while listening to a live version of Bogoshipda in my playlist, which is from Kim Bumsoo's 5th album.

if anyone's forgotten, today's the day of our 'TVfXQ Rising Kingdom with LG Mobile' event. it'll be super tiring i tell you, that's why i'm planning to wear sport shoes for easier running errands. you know how i prefer NOT to post after any events right? i suppose i might do one later on, if i'm not too exhausted this afternoon. i hope the party goes on really well!it symbolizes Kpop Kingdom's first bash associating with Korean companies. so good luck to all staff! ok. so the Green Tea with Jasmine flavour needed a lil getting used to, at first. but hey! me likes it now.. me does, me does. yarr twinnie! me likeess it. and it has little to do with the fact that i got it free at the exclusive 'My Girl & I' fanmeeting today.

mwahaha. what kind of intro was that? anywayz. yep! this afternoon i went for the by-invites-only fanmeeting of the movie starring Song Hyegyo and Cha Taehyun. it was held at JW Marriott at 3pm. or was it 3:30? or 4? i didn't pay attention to what DJ Simon was saying.. sorry. so i lost track of time. and it (HUH!!) ended before 5 o'clock.

well, haven't got much to spazz about the event, mainly because 30 minutes for a blardy rare Malaysian fanmeeting (aka movie promo) was kinda pathetic. but yeah, who am i to complain eh? at least i get that lovely goodie bag with the yummy Jasmined Green Tea. <--hence the Tea Party theme, get it? honestly.. sheeeeeeeesh =______=;;;

iye iye, aku cukup bersyukur dapat pegi untuk event kali ni. er.. just because the MCing was done in chinese, and we got such crammy space in the hall, and we couldn't sing Happy Birthday to Hyegyo unnie.... doesn't mean that i didn't like being there. XDDD

in fact, it was fun to actually meet Taehyun oppa, who btw looks much better in person =]. as usual, Hyegyo is VERY pretty. i was snapping so many pics, and wasn't concentrating on what they said. kekeke. being in the same room with them might have made my head fuzzy. snapsnapsnapsnap was all that i did. pergh. i really wish Shinhwa will come now. Taehyun oppa~!!! please tell Shinhwa oppa deul all about us, pleeassseee.

uber-spazzing

urgh. penat nye arini. penat kenape ye..? penat gelak + penat berborak + penat mengumpat gasoo =]. Kpop Kingdom's KLCC picnic today was a blast. we met so many new people, had our own 'Kingdom Idol' competition and pigged-out on jajan and Coke. i tell you, everyone at the park were giving us funny looks =D it was hilarious. yay! i love gatherings... huhu

Korean Food Fair 2005

this post is 2 days late, i'm so sorry. i haven't gotten the chance to go online not with photobucket making a big deal just out of uploading some photos. i had a great time at the 22/05/2005 Kpop Kingdom + Soompi's Malaysia clan gathering. I met many new friends (in the flesh) who are as wonderful in person as they are online =D. Shout out to (sorry dun knoe correct spelling): Shereen, Kak  Naza, Sheera, Jessica & her brother Bryan. Initially we had just sat and talked (disconcertingly loud in a bookstore cafe ^^;;).. and everyone seemed to break the ice so fast. we were talking, and laughing, sharing anecdotes as if we've known each other for a long time.

heehee. yep, the Malaysian Clan truly connected at our first meeting!
after that, we headed on to the Korean Food Fair (yay!) at Great Eastern Mall. 'tasted' quite a lot of delectable kimchi, and took picture with the Shinhwa Coke cans. ah~ i didn't have to buy one! coz mah wubbly fwens had already given my Shinhwa Coke as a gift.

i'm considering what to wear.. ^^;; it's going to be held in KLCC Kinokuniya 2nd Floor. i suspect a lot are coming today after all the ajak-ing to soompiers and SSers. i hope i don't forget to bring my camera XD

i spent yesterday sitting infront of the TV, while other people were convoing at the Star Wars III Episode gala. but the shows were passable.. so i flipped channels in between reading the newspapers. ah~ how come there's still no report on the Korean Food Fair launch? i wanna see pictures of Farah & Erenah unnie on stage in the news! wonderful, farah has nicely typed up a report at her blog
