i seriously understand your pain
when that happens, i break the CD in two and smash it into the trash. then, because i get lazy due to the amount and/or stupidly slow Streamyx, i only re-download whichever ones i REALLYx1000 want to get back. otherwise, i'll bid farewell. ;_;
WOW. i used to break cds into half too. but after that i made them into 'work of art' fanletters to my favourite Jrockers (which i seriously did at one point snail mail to Japan).
now i just chuck it. we'll see if i'm in the bitterest mood ever, so will break 'em then. :)
