Band-sy weekend

Tomorrow's the FT concert day. Will be meeting Liza (gave her a mighty shocker when I mentioned this! - I forgot to tell her I already bought us tickets) at LRT KJ where Noviar&Ayu are gonna pick us up.

*sends milk, cookies and much-needed-hugs for the concert organiser. FIGHTING!!* Hope I'll be able to see the girls tomorrow. ;_;

Am currently listening to MUCC's "Shion" and I dare say that I'm pretty pleased with the outcome of their latest album. It took several repeats to really warm up to but the overall feel is still fundamentally post-"6" MUCC with more experimental flavours thrown in. The arrangements are much better this time, as Miya gets a lot more limelight than usual eventhough he sounded meek on most guitar solos. A little less grunge, still as angsty and a lot more poppish. Yeah, "Shion" is still in need of more of 'a little of this and that' but this album is not bad. Not bad at all.

I'm a bit disconcerted over why I keep listening to Tourbillon's "Break the Chain" (It's the opening song for Kamen Rider Kiva after all D:). I guess I still am in awe with Ryuichi's Luna Sea-esque voice. The little Monkichi. *pats Ryu's head*

Oh, after my daily rations over at jrockynyc I just realised that X Japan's concert was friggin yesterday! Oops.. my week was a little hectic that I hadn't the patience to read Jrock news of late. Anyway, can't wait to watch Sugizo! hihihihihihihihi xDD I love Hikkichan.

Apart from the concert, I'm also downing Juno Reactor's newest goa trance album "Gods & Monsters". Good stuff, this. Good stuff. MOAR Sugizo goodness, yum ♥

Orange Attack

Tadaima! My PC is finally back, alive and definitely kicking after I succeeded to godek it up over the last weekend. Alhamdulillah... Just in time to spazz some more for Shinhwa's 10th Anniversary.

I'm sure a lot of people did the same as me yesterday. The orange fever really hit me bad last night. Look what a sappy fan can do with a whole lot of spare time (under the circumstance of a broken down computer) and a spanking new camera phone:

Orangeday_1

Crazy woman gone overboard? I doubt I'm even close to owning orange as a true fan would have amounted.

Go ahead and post/talk about all the random orange coloured stuff you can find in your house :D

*Kicks CPU*

My PC went bust last Friday! I'm stealing some time on my brother's since he's not home yet. I've long suspected my power supply was faulty because there was trouble booting. Usually it'd be okay after several reboots. But looks like this time it won't even juice up. Grrr. Need to go Low Yatt/ Digital Mall for new one. Grrr. There goes my plans to watch H&C anime over the weekend

Doramanganime

Dora-what??

Dorama + Manga + Anime = Doramanganime.

Yeah, I'm lame like that. Anyhoo, I've unofficially joined the fandom for Honey and Clover. As mentioned in my previous post, I really might buy the manga since scanlations are so hard to find. Well, not unless someone owns up to any good scangroup sites. No?

Here's a useless advice for anyone (like me) who love to nitpick on details: One way to enjoy a manga/anime-adapted Jdrama is by watching it first. Please avoid the anime or manga before you watch the dorama. No good comes out of complaining about how the storyline differ between each universe. Plus, you will be happier if and when you deepen you knowledge (through manga/anime) after the dorama ends.
At least, that's how I do it. Nyeh.

However, regardless of any advice I will always looove to nitpick on Taiwan-ised dramas. Heard there'll be a Mandarin version of H&C. Hah! *nitpicks*

News Flash

Coalition? Opposition?

Whichever way you see it, whichever righteous prig's shoulder the responsibility is burdened upon, the most important mission for us all should be to continue upholding our harmony amongst co-inhabitants. Regardless of beliefs, colour or principles.

The fate of Selangor lies in your hands. I'll admit I was shocked by the results. But the people have given you a choice.

Prove it to us.

While other Malaysians are voting...

Here I am lazing about at home:

Reading the latest Bleach chapter. The subplots are dwindling away and Aizen's returned to the foray! And hopefully, Gin.

Downloading Jrock albums. I really need to listen to something other than Acid Black Cherry before I get annoyed with myself xP I can't exactly hum anything other than his songs right now.

Watching Honey & Clover's latest subbed episode. Over and over again. Thank God  SARS uploads pretty fast recently. Kassy is so darned irressistible in this dorama I'm even contemplating on buying the manga (For the sake of the character he plays: Nomiya).

Watching movies online. Failing to find "The Detective" (Aaron Kwok's horror thriller) on the Net, I decide I should sit down for "The Boleyn Girl". Oh, perhaps eventually I'll finish watching the second and third "Pirates of the Carribean".

Ah~ Maybe I'll peek my head outside my room later. To show I'm still alive. Honestly, I feel I'm not a good enough Malaysian to take part in the elections. Hah.

System (almost) shutting down

Futsal @ Sports Barn, PJ : Legs aching. Toes paining. But had lotsa fun! Got swanky GSC umbrella from lucky draw. Marcel even belanja us at Restoran Kayu after the game ;D

@ Home: Effing sleepy. Trying to stay awake and wait til Aish comes home to go for drink at Old Town White Coffee.

Tomorrow @ Ampang : Can't wait to meet Jessjess (Luna Sea CD-Data!), Farah, Mish and whoever decides to join us for Korean lunch.
