The book was boring but the film (Part 1) exceeded my expectations by a mile.

A wise decision. The thickness and barrage of last-minute plots crammed into the book would have demanded that kind of commitment. As mentioned before, I like Part 1.

nope

pretty good. at least some loose ties ended with a bow..? there were various parts which were painful to read though.

2-3 times for each book, i think?

Fred. Dumbledore's was more like a denial period for me and Sirius' was a total shock.. and Lupin's was just.. T_T (obviously i can't decide ._.)

i remember i was having a hard time reading the book (too much unnecessary angst on Harry's part, really) but the movie's pretty okay.

well-thought. it gave much room for character's and/or atmosphere's transformation and prolonged our farewell to the big movie franchise.

since the first book. purely by chance. was visiting a cousin in the UK for her graduation and an excerpt from the book was in a newspaper lying around in her house, which i picked up to read. :)
