In the beginning, ohh about 10 years ago when I just started listening to Jpop, I used to buy those cheap Taiwanese magazines called J-Point (me thinks that's the title). Being unable to understand chinese, all I could do was cuci mata - ogle at the hot looking dudes.
Lol. It was then that I was 'introduced' to most Japanese artistes/performers (of that era) considering how Internet was still an ultra expensive commodity. Masa tu pun memang aku tengah gile semangat cuba belajar Japanese by myself.
Eh so anywaaay, I remember I was harshly disliking Kinki Kids because I couldn't understand why people liked them so much. And up til now, I've never given them a fleeting thought. Well if I had today's Internet access privilige back then... then maybe I would've understood how adorable and loving these two are. Akekekeke.
Koichi was I assume trying not cry and spoke nonsense at the end. Aww. Tsuyo? Lol. He's so shy!! Below is what the letter says thanks to the uploader:
Koichi-san, first saw you at the audition and you were wearing black sunglasses and jeans and my first impression was that you are such a 'square'.
I thought we might not be able to work well together but after some time, I start to know you even more. We are not frens nor brothers but we share a very good relationship. Because of our very good relationship, during breaks, both of us know each other that well that we can talk what we want and not talk when we don't feel like talking.
I had thought that if we work separately, I will not feel lonely but during my Shanghai work trip, due to hardships in filming and language barriers, and I was very tired to had to bear a heavy responsibility. But after hearing your voice over the phone, I had a feeling of a long-time-no-contact-brother kinship, and it made me felt at ease and hearing you say 'work hard', made me very happy.
I had thought I could live by myself, but only to realize that I need the support of the people around me. And the person can only be Koichi. Truly from the bottom of my heart, I feel that its great being with Koichi.
So from now on, let's both of us work hard together. I know you are someone who doesn't like to talk to others about your problems, so please from now on, do open up and talk to me. And listen to me for my own troubles and problems
